I think they always did it with 3rd or 4th graders (I can't remember) but I remember my sister and I both did it. I remember we took a dictionary/encyclopedia/thick book and put the leaves in it for a few days to flatten them (it made it easier to glue them to the pages). Also using cement glue worked best to glue them. <br /><br />I remember my mom took us to this state park and we got all sorts of different types of leaves and we got extra credit (as most kids just picked leaves in their backyard).
